Our Story
In the aftermath of witnessing the tragic impact of school shootings, David Botero, a US Navy veteran, was inspired to create NEMO Security Concepts. Drawing from his military experience and a deep-rooted commitment to protecting communities, David envisioned a new approach to school security that combined professionalism, dedication, and innovation. Named after the heroic military dog Nemo, whose valor and sacrifice symbolize the essence of courage, NEMO Security Concepts was born out of a desire to transform the safety landscape of educational institutions and empower a new generation of security professionals.
